Trigger Warning

Join us for a series of FREE workshops leading up to a Community Celebration of May Day, the traditional day of solidarity among workers across the globe.  At the workshops, you can learn to design and build your own parade puppet, props, headdresses, masks or whatever you can dream up, and then proudly carry them in the Pageant on April 29th. No building experience is necessary; we use simple techniques and materials- cardboard and fabric, paper mache, foam, wood and wire. You can create your own or we can give you an assignment.  Attendance at workshops is as-you-will: you don’t have to go to all of them, but more complex puppets will likely take a few sessions to complete. Come on out, roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty/wet/covered with glue.  Stand together with your community and all communities.
