Trigger Warning

The chocolate fudge
Moulded in
Memories
Smashed underneath
The wrinkled, silver foil
As the days crunch

An accident only
It was
That has spread the puddle
Very dark,
Gooey;
Thick liquid
I tried for long to hold,
To incarcerate
Inside the oval hot pot
Shaped like eyes
Keeping their warmth
Locked,
Safe

But as it is their nature
To tear the brink
To breathe in
Air
Kiss the water
But only in the form of vapour
