The Russian Cultural Center “Our Texas” presents the new artworks by talented artist and musician Zhenya Kolykhanov (Rock). Opening Reception, meeting with the artist and mini-concert: Friday, November 11, 7:30p.m. Originally from Vologda, Russia, Zhenya Kolykhanov (Rock) now lives in Austin. He is mainly known to the public as a virtuoso guitar and accordion player, soloist of the famous Austin group “Flying Balalaika Brothers”, former singer of “Red Elvises”. Art works by Zhenya Rock were exhibited at Strictly Taboo Jazz Club (Dallas), Martin La Borde Gallery on Royal Street (New Orleans), Valencia Art Fair (Los Angeles), Viva Chocolato at the Domain (Austin).
