Victor Pérez-Rul (Mexico City) exhibits works that explore and exploit the relationships between energy, matter, and consciousness, using platforms such as sculpture, installation, interactivity, sound, and performance. Within his experimental creative processes, this technological artist fuses scientific research, technology, and empirical data through technological and electronic media, alongside physical processes. From a post-humanist perspective, Pérez-Rul generates artworks that encourage introspection. Pérez-Rul has lectured at the Universidad Iberoamericana about multidisciplinary experimental creative processes and has exhibited his work in Mexico at: Salón ACME, White Cremnitz Gallery and Galería Karen Huber, Antiguo Colegio de San Ildefonso, Museo de la Ciudad de Mexico, Museo de la Ciudad de Queretaro and Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Morelia. Internationally, he has exhibited in The Netherlands at the Crossing Border Festival (The Hague, 2009), Young Art Festival (Beverwijk, 2010), Melkfabriek (Hilversum, 2010), Museum Hilversum (Hilversum, 2010) and in Germany at the Unpainted Art Fair (Munich, 2014) among others.
