Trigger Warning

The world is broken    children killing children.
Ageless stories written in blood.

Gun, the new god /
appeasing weapons of hate.

Time is fractured        there is no tomorrow.
Blistering pieces of ash collect burying all.

Hate, the new god /
appeasing weapons of fear.

Each day another death          an end to all.
Ring around the Rosie – we all fall down.

Fear, the new god /
appeasing weapons of greed

Winner takes all          nothing remains
The blackening of truth.

Greed, the new god /
there is nothing left to appease
