Trigger Warning

every turn
reveals a view obscured

a lost way
gone on ahead
to signal the change

a shadow cast
from a long-forgotten self

one more thing to matter a bit less
one more thing to mean a bit more

as the soul shifts focus
and the heart lets go

we become the truth
we’ve been seeking
all along.
